Happy Easter everyone! Today we are going to make Easter eggs. You will need several things for this project. You need bowls or cups for each different color dye, crayons, water, food coloring, vinegar, water colors (if you want) and -of course- eggs.
Step 1: Boil the eggs/egg for ten minutes.
Step 2: Fill your cups/bowls half way with hot water.
Step 3: Add drops of food coloring in the water and a teaspoon of white vinegar.
Step 4: Draw with a crayon on your egg, gently, so you don't break it.
Step 5: Take the eggs and put them in the dyed water you want
Step 6: Take the eggs out. Notice that the dye can't go where you drew with crayons.
This is where we end if you are not doing the water color part.
Step 7: If you want, use non-toxic watercolors to paint a specific design on your eggs.
And that is one way to decorate Easter Eggs! If you want to show me your awesome eggs then send them to me in the comment section. I would love to see them!
Love the directions on coloring the eggs and the ones pictured here are just lovely.
